Presenters and attendees at the 2026 spring research showcase.

On March 17th, the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry ran a research showcase event, so that its undergraduates could learn more about the many projects being conducted in the school and make connections to help them engage in research. Graduate and undergraduate research students presented posters on their work. The  posters covered a broad cross section of the school's research and  included fundamental studies of immune response, the effectiveness of undergraduate laboratory instruction, protein folding in lipid environments, protein structure and function, machine learning studies of protein drug interactions, evolutionary studies of proteins, studies of optical and electronic materials, high level quantum mechanical studies of molecules and materials, and the use of mass spectrometry to study a range of biological problems.
